Weishan Lake Yujia Water Street Scenic Area

The Weishan Lake Yujia Water Street Scenic Area is located in Gaolou Township, Weishan County, Jining, Shandong Province, on the banks of the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal. It is not only the hometown of railway guerrillas, but also boasts the largest freshwater lake in northern China - Weishan Lake. The scenic area covers an area of about 4.6 square kilometers and has won multiple honors such as the National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site and the National Leisure Fishery Demonstration Base. It has also been awarded the title of "China Rural Tourism Gold Medal Farmhouse".

In Weihe Village, where the scenic area is located, the villagers inherit the spirit of railway guerrilla forces and name their roads and bridges after "Happiness Road" and "Endeavor Bridge". The national flag and party flag are hung on the ship, showing their gratitude. The unique fishing culture takes root here, blending Central Plains and Qilu cultures, giving birth to regional beliefs, fishermen's songs and other distinctive customs. Fishermen take boats as their homes, forming a unique "water village".

The scenic area has beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons: enjoying the clear water and blue sky in spring, admiring the lotus flowers reflecting the sun in summer, watching the reeds flying snow in autumn, and admiring the silver wrapped plain in winter. In the future, the scenic area will deeply integrate Weishan Lake culture, rural revitalization, and cultural tourism industry, driving the masses to jointly embark on the path of prosperity.
